64 | COSERE Collaborative work Collaboration is a fundamental aspect of an eTwinning project, which is extensively addressed in a specific section later on. The communication tools and interactions with individuals from diverse cultures hold significant value within a collaborative framework. However, this concept extends beyond mere coordination. In a successful eTwinning project, collaboration is structured across various levels: • Among Teachers: Collaboration among educators is crucial for aligning on project content, objectives, and methodologies to meet everyone’s aspirations and requirements. Teachers collaborate to ensure that the project satisfies the diverse needs and ambitions of all involved parties. • Between Students and Teachers: Collaboration between students and educators involves both groups brainstorming ideas and initiatives, codesigning the project, and collectively evaluating its progress and outcomes. This collaborative approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning journey while fostering a sense of partnership and mutual respect between students and teachers. • Among Students: Collaboration among students occurs both within individual schools and across twinned schools. Students collaborate within their own school community to contribute ideas, work on project tasks, and support one another’s learning. Additionally, collaborative exchanges between students from twinned schools enable cultural exchange, shared learning experiences, and the development of global perspectives. In essence, collaboration lies at the heart of a successful eTwinning project, fostering meaningful interactions, shared decisionmaking, and collective ownership of the learning process among all participants.
